In today’s episode I wanna take the time to answer a question I have been asked countless times in the last few months. It seems like it’s a question a lot of people are interested in after watching me meet all these handbalance teachers around the world. And since handbalancing ist still kind of a niche, oftentimes there aren’t a lot of face-to-face-options for coaching available, depending on which part of the world you live in. So online coaching is still one of the most important ways of getting guidance if you want support in your handstand journey.
The thing about this question is, it is super hard to answer for me (especially when coupled with the “who did you like best?” question). Which teacher is the right choice for you, completely depends on a number of personal factors that can highly vary on an individual basis.
So in this episode I try to give you some questions and some things to look for when you’re searching for a teacher. You can use this episode, coupled with some of my interviews to get at least some ideas for options – including some that you would’t find that easily, because sometimes geniouses don’t market themselves so well ;). And then just reach out to the teachers to see if you get along and if they are available! It’s also a good idea to reach out to some of their students (if you know where to find them) to get an idea of what their experience was like.
If there’s anything more you would like to know, don’t hesitate to put a comment below, or just send me a personal message (here on the website or on instagram).
The world is your playground, so just go ahead and do whatever you love!
